Nestled between the majestic Table Mountain and the azure waters of the Atlantic, Cape Town beckons with its diverse culture, vibrant markets, and breath-taking landscapes. Upon arrival we will transfer you to your hotel on the Atlantic seaboard.

See the city from Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain and explore its streets and hidden secrets on a historic heritage walk. Your guide will recommend a lunch spot depending on your culinary taste before a sea-kayaking adventure in the afternoon.

Travel to Livingstone, Zambia today. Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be transferred to your accommodations on the Zambezi River within the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. After you settle in, enjoy a sunset cruise down the Zambezi River.

Livingstone, Zambia

Start your day with a visit to the stunning and mighty, Victoria Falls. Mosi-Oa-Tunya, otherwise known as the Smoke that Thunders. Enjoy the magnitude of one of the seven natural wonders. Return to the lodge and enjoying birding on the river.

Start your morning with an exhilarating rhino trek with a scout. Find these lumbering giants in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, spend time visiting the Maunga Health Center and Primary School, programs funded by your stay with African Bush Camps.

Bumi Hills, Zimbabwe

Travel from Zambia to neighboring Zimbabwe by light aircraft. Upon arrival to the Bumi Hills on Lake Kariba, you’ll be greeted by the warm lodge team. This lodge is perched high above the lake and it’s game-rich on shoreline within a private wildlife conservation area home to elephants, hippos, zebra, and buffalo.

Wake up to the sunrise over the valley below. Enjoy a game drive, or perhaps game viewing by water. Try your hand at fishing as you cruise across the water.

Mana Ranger Anti-Paching Unit

Actively supporting the anti-poaching efforts in the Mana Pools National Park, African Bush Camps built an additional anti-poaching unit in 2021, which is giving the National Parks additional capacity.

Mangwara Primary School:

With an average of 300 learners from ECD to grade 7, African Bush Camps has made significant infrastructure investments in the school to ensure that learners have adequate facilities and resources.

Maunga Health Centre

African Bush Camps built a health care facility in Maunga, fully equipped with a maternity ward, solar power, access to water, ablution facilities, and equipped medical supplies and resources to serve the community.

Sustainability Efforts

The African Bush Camps Foundation is run alongside their business with a mission to partner with local communities and wildlife to improve quality of live and achieve long-term conservation. The Foundation has projects running in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana that focus on addressing challenges that include unemployment, food scarcity, poor education and healthcare infrastructure, low school attendance and dropouts due to financial constraints, wildlife poaching, and preserving natural resources.
